Now that the 5th season of The Voice is coming to its end, I can draw some conclusions. It’s clear Christina and her stylist DON’T read this blog, but I like the fact that whenever she sports a so-and-so or disappointing look, it’s certain the next will be smashing. I totally dig her decision to keep on wearing black and white clothes, because such a combination is the epitome of chic and class.
Last night she blew me away! It’s such a prim and proper look, something I’d like to see on her more often. She wore a cute Peter Pan double-collar silk white shirt, black trousers and diamond jewellery. Thank God, the bizarre winter wonderland around her eyes disappeared, replaced by gorgeous smokey eyes, dark red lips and flawless cheeks. I don’t even want to comment on her updo, because you know I love chignons.
The silk taffeta shirt she wore is by Comme des Garçons: it features a lovely rounded double collar, patch pocket at chest, long sleeves with pleated button cuffs. She added a nice touch of black with a leather bow collar by Saint Laurent, an accessory from the fall 2013 collection.
Her Le Luxe Noir skinny jeans in black (the name of the shade is Vian) are by Frame Denim. We got a quick glimpse of her shoes but I couldn’t get a good screencap of them. They’re surely by Louboutin, sky-high and glittering.
I’m a fan of most of the jewellery seen on Christina, but this time that department left me speechless. Besides her trademark diamond hoop earrings, she wore a stunning piece by the Italian designer Dionea Orcini. The Lasya ring is made of 18K rose gold with 18K white gold inserts, embellished with a white diamond pavé. Its beautiful shield shape combines the symbols of the endless knot and lotus flower.
On her left hand she wore one of her favourite rings – the Odessa ring by Suneera, featuring a central rose-cut grey diamond and pavé white diamonds set in 18K gold and blackened silver.
I’m so looking forward to seeing what she will wear on the two final episodes. This season has been epic style-wise, and I’m sure the best has yet to come.
