Christina Aguilera’s Style: The Voice (Season 5) – Top 8 Live Performances

The Internet is still buzzing about Christina Aguilera’s appearance at the American Music Awards 2013, but yesterday another episode of The Voice aired, so it’s time to move on. The competition is entering its pre-final phase, with the Top 8 live performances and eliminations. I didn’t watch the whole episode, but I was glad to catch Tessanne Chin’s rendition of No Doubt’s Underneath It All. It’s one of my favourite songs by the American group and I think she really did justice to it.

tumblr_mwuz4mk40t1qbhhnbo1_500Christina was smouldering in a black and royal blue jacquard long-sleeved dress, wavy hair and glamourous make-up. She is still keeping things simple and classy, definitely a much-welcomed style choice.

xtina_tornbyronnykobomamiedressShe wore the Mammie dress by Torn by Ronny Kobo, which beautifully enhanced her eyes and platinum blonde hair.

xtina_loreerodkin_jacquieaicheThe jewellery department was strangely subdued this time: she only wore a v-shaped diamond and gold ring by Jacquie Aiche, a Loree Rodkin 18-karat rhodium white gold ring with moonstones and a pair of Loriann Stevenson three-stone drop earrings.

xtina_givenchysharklockbootiesDuring the episode some pre-recorded scenes aired, too. In this case, she was wearing black leggings, Givenchy black suede shark lock booties (thanks to Rachel for the i.d.), a camo top and a denim shirt – a very relaxed yet nice outfit.

xtina_autumncashmeredipdyebeanieShe also wore a lovely hand-knit beanie by Autumn Cashmere. Made of cashmere and wool blend, it’s dip-dyed.

With the live results airing tonight, I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us. Check back tomorrow for a new post!
