After last week’s Top 12 event, a new phase has started for the fifth season of The Voice: yesterday the members of the four teams performed live. I really really really loved Jacquie Lee‘s rendition of U2’s Love Is Blindess, so heartfelt and intense!
Christina sported a lovely look, wearing a little black dress with studded leather panels and diamond jewellery. I’m glad she wore her hair side-parted and sleek, because this hairstyle gave her a fresher and 90s-inspired vibe. Hey, it seems she’s discovered how to turn back time! I’m a bit on the fence when it comes to her make-up, because I think that neutral lipstick incredibly washed her out.
She wore Versace again, opting for a lovely black stretch-woven dress, embellished with studded quilted leather panels and buckle-fastening detail at the waist. I think the shape of the dress was a bit too severe for her, since more feminine lines suit her best, but she looked amazing nonetheless.
We also saw Christina in pre-recorded moments, while rehearsing with members of her team. I loved this look so much! Everything is lovely – the neutral shades of the dress, her messy hairstyle and basic make-up.
This episode’s mystery id was the striped dress Christina wore during rehearsals. I first thought it was a striped sweater and couldn’t find it anywhere; then I saw the episode and realized it was a dress, so I was able to identify it right away. It’s a Cecilia dress by Torn by Ronny Kobo, a nice color-block dress featuring a round neck and long sleeves, made of stretch jersey knit with ribbed trim.
She accessorized this look with large hoop earrings and the gorgeous Dawn evil-eye ring by Ileana Makri that she had previously worn last week.
Tonight a new episode will air and I can’t wait to see what Christina and her glam squad have in store for us! I’m wishing for a show-stopping look ♥
