The second phase of The Voice – the Battle Rounds – started with a bang: Christina appeared backstage wearing Cee Lo’s huge sunglasses and then made her entrance in the studio, surrounded by the other coaches.
Identifying her keyhole dress was really challenging, but I made it! It’s a Punto Milano dress by Balmain: it’s made of viscose, it has a halter neckline with a concealed hook closure and is embellished with gold piping. Christina looked sensational in it.
She paired it to Vendome sky-high peep-toe pumps by Christian Louboutin.
The jewellery department included a statement navette diamond ring and diamond pavé hoop earrings. Her short squared nails were painted black, while her make-up included shiny red lips and sparkling gold eyes. Look at her platinum blonde hair: this hairstyle is so beautiful and glamourous on her.
During the episode we saw her sporting other two outfits.
She met the members of her team with Ed Sheeran, the English singer and songwriter who got a nomination for Song of the Year at the 2013 Emmy Awards. She chose him to help her coach her team for the Battle Rounds. I love the understated ensemble she wore here and I’m in awe of her flawless pink-hued make-up and lovely wavy hair. The outfit included an Ashville biker leather jacket by IRO, a yellow and grey tie-dye top and ripped skinny jeans.
She also wore a strass-embellished pyramid stud bracelet by Valentino. I don’t like her hairstyle much, because it’s too wavy for my liking, but she looked nice.
I can’t wait for the show to enter the actual competition phase, even if I must admit battle rounds are very exciting! My favourite singers so far are Amber Nicole and Anthony Paul, but I also liked Tamyra-Joi a lot (too bad she was eliminated and not stolen by other coaches). And then did you see Cher, who was chosen as team adviser by Blake Shelton? My jaw dropped when I saw the stunning Loree Rodkin jewellery and the orange wig she wore. Talk about a real music icon!
