She may not be a coach in the upcoming season of The Voice, but it doesn’t mean she’s forgotten the impact that the successful tv programme has had on her career. For this reason, Christina Aguilera joined her fellow judge Blake Shelton, new judge Usher, Carson Daly and The Voice Australia judges (Delta Goodrem, Seal and Joel Madden) at the premiere screening of the show’s 4th season on March 2th, 2013.
She wore a sleeveless black dress with a flared skirt, chinched at the waist with a studded belt. Uncharacteristically she kept things simple in the accessory department, wearing a pair of Lorraine Schwartz hoop earrings only. She completed the minimal look with Christian Louboutin Daffodil pumps.
Her dress is a creation by Parker. I really love the flared effect of the pleated skirt, contrasting with the fitted bodice.
The aformentioned studded belt is by Versace. Christina wore it at the live playoff results of The Voice 3, pairing it to a Peter Pilotto flared skirt and long-sleeved black top.
Her sky-high pumps are by Christian Louboutin. I literally hate the Daffodils, because their exaggerated front plateau make them un-harmonious and hoof-like, but one must give Christina credit for rocking those incredibly high heels.
I really liked her natural make-up, but her hairstyle doesn’t convince me much. Her platinum blonde hair looked a bit lifeless here, don’t you agree? As for the general impression, I think she looked great, much in shape, even if I can see something unnatural in her expression/face (especially cheeks and cheek-bones)? Do you think she got something done?
Now that the premiere of The Voice is just around the corner, I’m a bit sad because I know she won’t be among the judges. I will miss my weekly dose of Christina’s fashion, also because we don’t know what the next steps of her career will be. Months could pass without having news of her. How sad.
