Are you excited about the last episodes of The Voice? Yesterday the top 8 artists performed live, so the competition is really reaching the most important phase. It’s sad when such a program comes to an end, but at the same time it’s great to see the outfits that Christina and her glam squad still have in store for us. The style she has sported in this edition has not been as consistent as the one she had in the 2nd season, but it’s true she’s stepped out of her comfort zone, and this must be appreciated. This season she’s gone through ups and downs, but in general I’m happy with what she’s worn so far, not to mention her hair and make-up, which have vastly improved.
The rock chick look is back with the sexy touch of a skin-tight leopard-print dress. I love love love her wavy hair with pink highlights and her make-up. Ok, I must admit I’m not crazy for the bubblegum pink lipstick, but I really like the blue smokey eyes. When this season wraps up, I want to write something about her fans: every week she holds one whose pattern somehow echoes her outfit, and they’re all lovely.
She paired it to a Christopher Kane leopard-print dress made of a blend of silk and cashmere.
The selection of jewellery she wore was particularly interesting – large gold earrings with central pink stone by Loree Rodkin (later in the episode, she replaced them with a pair of diamond arrowhead pendant earrings; you can see them in the previous screencap), a Jennifer Meyer wishbone ring and a moonstone ring by Arik Kastan.
The most exciting piece of jewellery she wore is a spectacular spider web ring. When I woke up this morning, I saw my Twitter friend Jessica had asked me to identify it for her, so here we go with some details. It’s a ring by Crow’s Nest, a jewellery brand founded by 26-year-old Daniel Philip Belevitch: it’s made of 18k white gold and is embellished with white diamonds, kunzite and pear-shaped tsavorite stones. Isn’t it beautiful?
In a pre-recorded section of the episode she sported a casual outfit, which included a white sweater, black denim cut-off shorts, a felt cap and over-the-knee boots. Her Sexy Lips sweater by Wildfox Couture has red gradient lips printed on the front. Christina’s sweater has a beauty spot on one side of the sweater, a detail which appears on the t-shirt version, too.
She wore Ksubi cut-off denim shorts and Christian Louboutin Supra Fifre leather boots at the Top 10 live result show last week. In that occasion she sported the same black and blonde wig, so I think these scenes were recorded soon after that.
What do you think of the outfits seen in this episode? Which one is your favourite?
