The Voice has finally gone live! Yesterday the first live playoffs (Team Adam and Team Blake) aired, but that was not the only appearance of the show’s vocal coaches. They also visited Extra at The Grove; Christina and Blake were later spotted at Osteria Mozza, one of Christina’s favourite restaurants in Los Angeles. She sported another rock chick outfit for the three events.
A beautiful pink feather fan was the quirky accessory she chose for the live episode of The Voice. Her outfit included star-printed denim leggings, a printed t-shirt, a leather biker jacket and lots of jewellery. I’m a fan of Mark Townsend, her hairstylist, but I just don’t get her hairdo here. Townsend explained he added strawberry highlights, which is awesome, but I don’t understand why he “braided the whole right side of her hair into several twists, so the pink color would show in the front”. Sorry but the effect is ugly 😦
The central piece of her outfit was a Reboot synthetic leather moto jacket by Nasty Gal. I really like this jacket because it has sleeves in different colours – one pale blue and one pale pink.
She paired the moto jacket with a Chaser Cheap Trick-Want Me boxy t-shirt and a pair of Frankie B My BFF jeggings in Blue Star, a cute star print. The t-shirt she wore is slightly customized: hers has got safety pins applied on the words “Cheap Trick”.
The jewellery department was packed with interesting pieces, starting from the necklaces. She wore two chains with diamond studded pendants (the arrowhead one is by Loree Rodkin) and a Halleh gold necklace with seven triangles embellished with diamonds.
She also wore star Michael Spirito diamond and gold fringed earrings and two rings: the navette ring with a pink stone is by Roseark, while the spectacular white gold pave ring is by Loree Rodkin.
I quite liked her make-up, done by Kristopher Buckle: hot pink lips were paired to almond smokey eyes in deep blue and black.
What do you think of this outfit? My only complaint is the hair, but I really like the rest: it’s nice to see how three apparently unmatchable items actually work together.
