Christina Aguilera’s Style: At the Samsung Galaxy Note II Launch Party, October 25th, 2012

It’s always nice to wake up in the morning with some Christina news! On October 25th she stepped out of her semi-seclusion (I hope she’s gearing up for the promotional tour of her upcoming album, Lotus) to attend the launch party of the Samsung Galaxy Note II in Los Angeles. I’m so happy she’s still sporting pink hair, because I think she looks awesome; this colour gives her outfits a completely different vibe, which I love.

For the occasion Christina opted for a rock chick outfit, which included black studded leggings, studded leather biker jacket, a ripped Mickey Mouse tee (a homage to her past as a Mouseketeer?), a studded bag and sparkling peep-toe pumps, plus a leopard-print cap.

I’m not into biker jackets, but this one is spectacular. It’s a creation by Zac Vargas, a vintage buyer from Los Angeles who founded his own brand in 2011. The classic black leather perfecto has been given an aggressive twist thanks to silver studs applied on the belt, lapels and shoulders.

She turned to her favourite shoe designer, Christian Louboutin, for accessories. She wore Very Mix peep-toe pumps in black and a lovely studded chain bag, Sweet Charity, embellished by a tiny front bow-shaped lock.

She also wore a pair of Swarovski crystal and chain Safari earrings by Erickson Beamon. The focus of the whole outfit was surely the custom ripped t-shirt, a piece that has been made especially for her by Kate Dellon, a Los Angeles-based designer who reworks and customizes jeans, hoodies and old t-shirts. As for her make-up, she sported her trademark red lips and light smokey eyes, a glamourous look which beautifully complimented a casual outfit.

What do you think of this look? Do you like its rock vibe?
