My fascination with bedrooms and bathrooms is a long story. I’ve devoted many Guessing Games to bath-tubs and mirrors (you can find both of them in a bathroom), but I’ve never done one devoted to bedrooms. This one is focused on a particular type of bedrooms – teenage bedrooms in movies and tv series. Probably I think they’re so interesting because when I was a teenager, I never had the possibility to decorate my room or to spend most of my time there (thank you, mom): my sister and I did our homework in the kitchen or in the study and we used our room only as a bedroom, not as a sort of nest/private space. I longed for a room on my own for years; when I finally went to university, I did my own thing: I shared my bedroom with a friend of mine, but she let me decorate it as I wanted, which means my collection of Versace ads attached on the wardrobe (we had a huge one), film playbills on the walls and my collection of glow-in-the-dark ghosts …well… everywhere. Do you have any special memory related to your own teenage bedroom? Share it in the comments!
I’m proud to announce that the winners are Lorenzo and his friends! You know I love when people come together to find a solution to my Friday Guessing Games, so this time I’ve really appreciated their guesses. The video solution is a bit longer than usual (nearly 10 minutes), but I speak about tv series I love – My So-Called Life, Freaks and Geeks and This Is England – and about my manicure.
