The preliminary phase of The Voice is coming to an end and I couldn’t be more excited: this means the real competition is about to start. I’m sure Christina will give us lots to talk about with her outfits: the ones that she has sported recently show she’s slowly finding her own style, which includes sheath dresses, fitted shapes, polka dots (plenty of them) and diamonds!
Last night she made an appearance at the Jimmy Kimmel Live and looked sensational, wearing a fitted white dress with black polka dot inserts and a par of Christian Louboutin Lady Peep red patent pumps.
I’m glad this dress is a Versace creation, because Christina has always been the perfect embodiment of the feminine style of the Italian maison. You may remember she was Versace testimonial in the amazing fall/winter 2003 advertising campaign by Steven Meisel. She’s been wearing Versace in many occasions, but it’s the first time she wore a recent design. I particularly like the details of the dress – the lace belt, the apron-like neckline and the black piping emphasizing the polka-dot central panel.
She completed the outfit with diamond jewellery – a white diamond ring and brown diamond six-ball pendant earrings. Her make-up was flawless as usual – shiny red lips are her trademark – and I also like her messy half updo.
What do you think of this look? Is she becoming predictable because she’s always wearing polka dot dresses or do you like this trend?
